HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REFINISH MY PUTTER?
Finishes can vary based on the type of custom work being performed. Most customizations will take between 6-12 weeks to complete. An estimated turnaround time will be shown on your order form when customizing a putter. Timeframes are estimates and may take longer/shorter depending on a variety of factors.
CAN YOU REFINISH ANY PUTTER?
We can refinish most putters that consist of solid metal and does not include plastics or soft inserts. If you’re unsure if we can refinish your putter, please send us a message and we will confirm.
I'M NOT FROM THE UNITED STATES WILL YOU STILL CUSTOMIZE MY PUTTER?
Absolutely! Customers from across the world ship to our workshop. The customer will be responsible for any import fees during shipping.
Will the finish on my putter wear?
The finishes applied are extremely durable, however it depends upon the care you give to your putter (use a head cover and avoid sandy greens and the finish will last). All finishes will wear over time and this should be expected.
WHY SHOULDN'T I SEND MY PUTTER WITH MY HEADCOVER?
Please do not send your headcover when shipping your putter to our workshop as it will not be returned. When your putter is completed a protective cover will be used.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY PUTTER IS PLATED?
If you're unsure if your putter is plated send a message with the make and model of your putter and we'll inform you. Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum’s and the Red version of Circa 62 models are plated.
CAN YOU SAVE/RETURN MY SHAFT/GRIP?
Shafts and grips will not be saved and/or sent back. When adding length to a putter, a new shaft is required with the option to add a new grip to your putter. When shortening, your existing shaft will be cut to length, but a new grip is required. When choosing a welded neck, most often a new shaft is required with the new welded neck as the neck typically requires a new tip fixture.
How should I care for my putter?
Carbon steel putters with certain finish options will require consistent maintenance by applying gun oil to your putter using a silicone cloth. Directions for care is listed with the finish details on our homepage. The best way to tell if your putter is made from carbon steel is to see if a magnet sticks to your putter... If the magnet sticks, then it’s highly likely it’s carbon steel. Stainless steel putters will not require maintenance other than good general care and a magnet will not stick to stainless steel.
ORDER FAQS
CAN I ADD INSURANCE TO MY RETURN SHIPPING?
Of course! There is an option on the order form that allows you to select the insurance you require on your putter for return shipping. Shipping options are available on our order form and will come with $100 insurance unless additional insurance is selected.
CAN I MAKE A CHANGE TO MY ORDER?
Once your order form has been submitted we do not accept change orders.
I PURCHASED AN ITEM ON THE WEBSITE SHOP AND WANT TO RETURN/CANCEL THE ORDER, CAN I GET A REFUND?
We accept returns for items purchased through our website shop so long as they are in unused condition (*excludes putters and custom items). Once the item has been returned we will issue a full refund (minus shipping costs) if the item has been unused. If the item is deemed to have been used then the product will be returned to you and no refund will be issued.
*Putters purchased through our website shop are final sale. Once the putter has been purchased refunds will not be issued. Any custom item purchased is non refundable upon purchase.
I WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER FORM FOR MY CUSTOM REFINISH, CAN I GET A REFUND?
Unfortunately we do not provide refunds for cancelled/overpaid custom orders. We will issue you a credit for the overpaid balance to use on our website.
MISCELLANEOUS FAQS
DO YOU TAKE PUTTERS ON TRADE?
Yes, depending on the putter. If we are willing to take your putter on trade, we will provide you with a credit that can be used on our website. When trading a putter please email us images of your putter and we will assess a trade in value. Once the value has been determined you will ship your putter/s to our workshop so we can assess the condition of your putter. If the condition of the putter/s are as discussed, we will provide you with the trade in credit to use on our website site.
DO YOU REFINISH IRONS?
We do not refinish irons/wedges. We can add hand stamping or laser engravings to wedges by special request (send us an email).
